    7: Two pop into mind: I Am Giant and Buckethead. The first because they are one of few Kiwi bands that are actually pumping out things other than reggae and generic summery music, and the latter because, despite looking like the standard eclectic guitarist, he can churn out some of the most beautiful guitar work I have ever heard.

    8. I still listen to a bit of The Corrs and Shania Twain on occasion, just because I was brought up with them. Recently though, I’ve grown quite fond of Adele. 

    11. Is “everything” a valid answer? Queen, ABBA, Dr. John, Shania Twain, AC/DC, The Corrs, Ronan Keating, Bee Gees, Dire Straits, Celine Deon, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry. If it was around, we had at least one CD from each of them.

    17. My favourite band changes like the mood swings of a 40yo woman, so this answer is liable to change. So, in the ring at the moment, my favourite just happens to be 2CELLOS. Fantastic band. They really faffed up Smells Like Teen Spirit, though. Dunno what it is about it. Not gritty enough? Eh. Everything else is sublime though.

    18. Oh my me. Coldplay. Two words. Mylo. Xyloto. Can we just rewind that entire album and try it again? Please. Give us back the unreleased Justin Bieber best of just so you can give that album a second shot, okay?
